Who this is for
Communications engineering leads and mission-planning teams who need to know when a nominally available link is no longer delivering a reliable mission service.
The problem you already have
Available and reliable are not the same thing
A communications path can stay nominally available on every dashboard while timing drift, routing changes, atmospheric conditions or a service dependency quietly make the mission service it carries unreliable. Link-up, IP-reachable, or radio-connected status alone does not establish that the mission service running over it is actually supported.
Reconnecting after a drop isn't the same as being back to full trust
When a link drops and comes back, "connected" is restored immediately — but whether the session, routing state, and any backlogged traffic have actually reconciled is a separate question. Treating reconnection as an automatic return to full mission-service authority is exactly the gap that shows up later, at the worst time.
Reviewing that gap doesn't require your transmitter parameters
Never requested, and structurally rejected if submitted: transmitter control parameters, raw waveform data, or classified network-topology details.
Real-World Operational Scenario: The Link That Was Up But Not Actually Working
Scenario: A SATCOM link over an equatorial region shows every basic health check green.
Link-up, IP-reachable, radio-connected — the dashboard reads nominal. But the ionosphere over that region is experiencing a disturbance: the rate of change in total electron content has climbed past the level where signal phase becomes unstable, and amplitude scintillation is elevated too.
WITHOUT this check: Mission planners keep routing traffic over the link because nothing in the basic connectivity check measures atmospheric propagation quality — the link is "up," so it's treated as reliable. Packets get corrupted or delayed in bursts that don't show up as an outage, just as degraded mission performance nobody can explain.
WITH this check: The link is classified LINK_DEGRADED based on the combined ionospheric readings — not because it dropped, but because the physical conditions carrying the signal crossed the threshold where the service depending on it can't be trusted. The mission service is downgraded to a delay-tolerant or store-and-forward mode instead of being treated as fully nominal.
What you provide
Redacted link-performance telemetry — timing, routing, propagation, and service-dependency metadata — already logged by your communications infrastructure.
What BivectorAI Provides
A Graduated Service State, Not a Binary Up/Down
Mission service authority is reported across a range of named states — from full nominal service down through degraded-quality, delay-tolerant, store-and-forward, or receive-only — reflecting exactly what the link can actually support right now, not just whether it's connected.
Atmospheric Conditions Checked Against Real Thresholds
Ionospheric and tropospheric propagation conditions are evaluated against known degradation thresholds, catching the case where a link stays technically connected while the physical channel carrying it has already degraded.
Reconnection Requires Reconciliation, Not Just Reconnection
After a drop and recovery, session state, routing, and any backlogged data are checked before the link is promoted back to full mission-service authority — reconnecting proves connectivity, not readiness.
Hash-Sealed Certificates for Post-Event Review
Every service-state classification traces back to the exact timing, routing, and atmospheric evidence that justified it at the time.
What we will never ask you for
Never requested, and structurally rejected if submitted: transmitter control parameters, raw waveform data, or classified network-topology details, or your system's core design data. Every submission is checked against this rejection list before any evidence logic runs — a malformed or over-broad submission is blocked and reported back to you, not silently processed.

Engagement path & current acquisition terms
DEF-010 · Tier C — Strategic Sensing / Infrastructure
Secures a defined diligence and exclusive-negotiation period. Any option credit is agreed in writing as part of the signed commercial terms.
Starting integration engineering, customer-safe adaptation, local/private deployment work, validation and acceptance evidence for the agreed environment.
Scope-dependent consideration for negotiated exclusivity in a defined field, program, platform class, territory and rights scope.
Engineering support, update access, security maintenance, evidence infrastructure and agreed sustainment services.
Applied to attributable net program revenue under the definitive agreement, subject to negotiated exclusions and accounting rules.
Commercial boundary. These are indicative starting terms, not a binding offer. Final price depends on exclusivity scope, field of use, territory, sublicensing, technical-data rights, integration obligations, export-control review, support requirements and definitive agreement.
IP boundary. Exclusive FOU does not automatically transfer ownership of BivectorAI Background IP. Worldwide/all-defense rights, sublicensing, source-level technical-data rights or assignment require separate negotiated consideration.
