Who this is for

Defense compliance officers, supply-chain risk teams, and program offices managing CMMC/DFARS evidence and allied attribution-support exchanges.

The problem you already have

Attribution evidence has to survive scrutiny it wasn't built for

Supply-chain evidence, provenance records and attribution-support documentation get assembled for one purpose and then have to hold up under compliance review, allied evidence exchange, or an audit — often long after the original context is gone.

A strong average can hide the one fact that should have zeroed everything out

CMMC coverage, DFARS clause compliance, and threat-intel quality can each score well and still get averaged together in a way that buries a single disqualifying issue — like a prohibited component somewhere in a sub-tier vendor's supply chain — under an overall score that looks fine.

None of this requires your classified sources or case files

Never requested, and structurally rejected if submitted: classified attribution sources, sanctioned intelligence products, or your organization's raw investigative case files.

Real-World Operational Scenario: The High Aggregate Score That Still Required Review

Scenario: A contractor's compliance dashboard looks strong across every category.

CMMC practice coverage, DFARS evidence, and attribution-support evidence can each look strong in isolation while a mandatory sourcing condition remains unresolved. For Section 889-related screening, DEF-004 evaluates the evidence state as Covered, NotCovered, Unknown, or ExceptionOrWaiverReview rather than averaging the issue away.

WITHOUT this check: A weighted average across all categories produces something like 97% overall — a single prohibited component barely moves that number. The compliance dashboard still reads "strong posture," and the disqualifying fact stays buried under everything that's genuinely going well.

WITH this check: Mandatory evidence gates take precedence over aggregate scoring. A Covered Section 889 evidence state blocks the compliance result; Unknown, exception/waiver review, or materially incomplete evidence requires review. Only complete NotCovered evidence can pass this gate. This is evidence-bound screening, not a legal determination or contracting-officer decision."

What you provide

Redacted CMMC practice-implementation status, DFARS clause compliance artifacts, and hardware/software bill-of-materials records — vendor and country-of-origin fields, not raw vendor contracts — already collected for your existing compliance reporting.

What BivectorAI Provides

Mandatory Evidence Gates Cannot Be Averaged Away

A mandatory block or review condition takes precedence over aggregate evidence elsewhere. Section 889 screening is evidence-bound: Covered blocks; Unknown, exception/waiver review, or incomplete evidence requires human review; complete NotCovered evidence can pass the gate.

Attribution Evidence Never Authorizes a Response

Attribution-support evidence is kept strictly separate from any decision to act. DEF-004 does not make legal attribution, authorize retaliation, issue operational commands, or replace human legal and command review. Evidence that violates that authority boundary is rejected rather than silently passed through.

Designed for Controlled Evidence Exchange

DEF-004 produces structured, hash-bound compliance and attribution-support evidence that can be reviewed or exchanged under an agreed program boundary. Framework-specific allied mappings are not represented as implemented unless separately validated for the target engagement.

Hash-Sealed Certificates for Post-Event Review

Assessment outputs can be sealed and later verified against the evidence-bound result. Release and due-diligence artifacts are hash-locked and signature-verifiable; this does not imply external certification or independent regulatory validation.

What we will never ask you for

Never requested, and structurally rejected if submitted: classified attribution sources, sanctioned intelligence products, or your organization's raw investigative case files, or your system's core design data. Every submission is checked against this rejection list before any evidence logic runs — a malformed or over-broad submission is blocked and reported back to you, not silently processed.

How it actually runs

01
You export the compliance and provenance records already required for your existing CMMC/DFARS reporting.
02
The evidence engine runs locally inside the agreed boundary. The validated DEF-004 release candidate is local-only, loopback-bound, and showed no outbound network connection during runtime tracing. This is not presented as formal air-gap certification.
03
You receive evidence-bound assessment output with sealing and verification support. Hashes and verification records support later review without exposing the private core.
04
You decide. The engine does not take control action, issue commands, make legal attribution, or authorize retaliation. Human legal, compliance, contracting and command authority remains outside DEF-004.

Engagement path & current acquisition terms

DEF-004 · Tier A — Assurance

Negotiated diligence option
On request

Secures a defined diligence and exclusive-negotiation period. Any option credit is agreed in writing as part of the signed commercial terms.

Private integration / NRE
On request

Starting integration engineering, customer-safe adaptation, local/private deployment work, validation and acceptance evidence for the agreed environment.

Exclusive field-of-use license
On request

Scope-dependent consideration for negotiated exclusivity in a defined field, program, platform class, territory and rights scope.

Annual technology & sustainment
On request

Engineering support, update access, security maintenance, evidence infrastructure and agreed sustainment services.

Program revenue participation
Negotiated

Applied to attributable net program revenue under the definitive agreement, subject to negotiated exclusions and accounting rules.

Commercial boundary. These are indicative starting terms, not a binding offer. Final price depends on exclusivity scope, field of use, territory, sublicensing, technical-data rights, integration obligations, export-control review, support requirements and definitive agreement.

IP boundary. Exclusive FOU does not automatically transfer ownership of BivectorAI Background IP. Worldwide/all-defense rights, sublicensing, source-level technical-data rights or assignment require separate negotiated consideration.

Controlled commercial surface

A controlled backend assessment surface currently exists for this capability.

Private / on-premise integration only

No automated PayPal checkout. Access is granted only under negotiated commercial entitlement.

Rights structure

Exclusive rights are defined by field of use, program scope, territory, term, sublicensing and technical-data rights. Underlying BivectorAI Background IP remains owned by BivectorAI unless expressly assigned.

Annual sustainment

May include updates, integration support, security maintenance, evidence infrastructure, validation support and agreed engineering services.

Revenue participation

Applied to attributable net program revenue under a definitive agreement with negotiated exclusions, reporting and audit terms.
