Expeditionary Power & Energy-Aware Mission Compute

Commercial reference
DEF-027

When contacting BivectorAI, quote DEF-027 — Expeditionary Power & Energy-Aware Mission Compute.

Who this is for

Expeditionary logistics and mission-compute planners managing energy-aware compute across checkpointing, degraded, and disconnected operation.

The problem you already have

Compute and power get planned by different people using the same budget

Compute availability and energy reserve are usually planned separately, even though checkpointing, degraded-compute operation and disconnected operation all draw on the same limited mission endurance.

Two workloads can each fit the power budget alone and still overload it together

A sensor-processing job and a checkpoint save can each look fine against the average power budget — the conflict only shows up if their peak demand happens to land at the same instant, which an average-power check has no way to catch.

Reviewing endurance doesn't require live platform control

Never requested, and structurally rejected if submitted: live platform control access, classified mission-power budgets, or compute-node credentials.

Real-World Operational Scenario: The Two Workloads That Were Each Fine Alone

Scenario: A forward compute node runs a sensor-processing job and schedules a checkpoint save for a second workload.

Each job, individually, fits comfortably within the node's continuous power budget on paper.

WITHOUT this check: The scheduler checks each job's average power draw, sees both fit under the rail's rated capacity, and runs them without checking for overlap. If the sensor workload's processing burst lines up with the checkpoint's write burst, the combined instantaneous draw exceeds what the shared power rail and battery can deliver at that moment — the node browns out, losing both the sensor processing and the checkpoint it was trying to protect.

WITH this check: Continuous and burst power are held as separate reservations, and a coincidence evaluator checks whether the combined demand of all currently planned work could exceed the shared rail's envelope at any overlapping instant — not just on average. The checkpoint is shifted a few seconds later, avoiding the overlap before either job ever runs.

What you provide

Redacted compute, power-reserve, and checkpoint-state telemetry already logged by your expeditionary platform.

What BivectorAI Provides

Peak Overlap Detection, Not Just Average Power Checks

Workloads sharing a power rail, converter, or storage source are checked for whether their peaks could coincide — catching a conflict that an average-power budget alone would miss entirely.

Demand Throttled Before the Boundary, Not After the Brownout

Endurance is projected forward from current reserve and consumption trend, lowering compute demand ahead of a mandatory reserve floor instead of reacting only after power runs out.

No Single Signal Stands In for Full Continuity

A generator-on flag, battery charge percentage, or nominal power rating never individually proves the mission-compute plan will actually hold together — the full reservation and coupling picture is checked instead.

Hash-Sealed Certificates for Post-Event Review

Every endurance classification traces back to the exact compute, power-reserve, and checkpoint evidence that justified it at the time.

What we will never ask you for

Never requested, and structurally rejected if submitted: live platform control access, classified mission-power budgets, or compute-node credentials, or your system's core design data. Every submission is checked against this rejection list before any evidence logic runs — a malformed or over-broad submission is blocked and reported back to you, not silently processed.

How it actually runs

01
You export the redacted compute and power-reserve telemetry already logged by your expeditionary platform.
02
The evidence engine runs inside your boundary. Local CLI, on-prem container, or air-gapped VM — nothing leaves your network.
03
You receive a hash-sealed evidence certificate. Classification, confidence, and contradiction records included, ready for program review.
04
You decide. The engine does not take control action or issue commands — it hands your reviewers structured evidence for the decision that remains yours.

On request

Engineering support, update access, security maintenance, evidence infrastructure and agreed sustainment services.

Program revenue participation
Negotiated

Applied to attributable net program revenue under the definitive agreement, subject to negotiated exclusions and accounting rules.

Commercial boundary. These are indicative starting terms, not a binding offer. Final price depends on exclusivity scope, field of use, territory, sublicensing, technical-data rights, integration obligations, export-control review, support requirements and definitive agreement.

IP boundary. Exclusive FOU does not automatically transfer ownership of BivectorAI Background IP. Worldwide/all-defense rights, sublicensing, source-level technical-data rights or assignment require separate negotiated consideration.
