Fleet Sustainment & Contested Logistics
Commercial referenceDEF-018
When contacting BivectorAI, quote DEF-018 — Fleet Sustainment & Contested Logistics.
Who this is for
Fleet sustainment leads and logistics program managers who need visibility into repair-network dependencies before a readiness cliff becomes visible at the platform level.
The problem you already have
Fleet readiness at platform level can hide a readiness cliff underneath it
Individual platforms can look mission-ready while repair-network dependencies, parts availability and maintenance lineage quietly build toward a bottleneck that surfaces only when several platforms need the same scarce resource at once.
A part count on a dashboard and a part you can actually install are two different numbers
Stock on hand can include units that are past shelf life, quarantined pending provenance review, or the wrong configuration revision for the platform that needs them — none of which shows up if the dashboard just counts units in the warehouse.
Surfacing that bottleneck doesn't require live supply-chain control
Never requested, and structurally rejected if submitted: classified logistics-network topology, live supply-chain control access, or vendor-confidential data outside the evidence contract.
Real-World Operational Scenario: The Warehouse Showed 12 Units, None of Them Could Go In
Scenario: A parts system reports 12 units of a critical repair component on hand across the fleet's supply chain.
A readiness dashboard counts those 12 units as available inventory supporting fleet-wide repairs.
WITHOUT this check: 4 units are past shelf-life expiration, 3 are quarantined pending a provenance review, and the remaining 5 are the wrong configuration revision for the platform that actually needs one right now. The "12 in stock" number never gets adjusted for any of that — it's just a count.
WITH this check: Each unit is tracked through its actual state — on-hand, serviceable, quarantined, provenance-review-required — and only units genuinely installable for the specific configuration count toward supportability. The certificate reports zero installable units for that platform, not twelve, before the fleet finds out the hard way.
What you provide
Redacted maintenance-lineage, parts-availability, and repair-network telemetry already logged by your sustainment systems.
What BivectorAI Provides
Installable Count, Not Warehouse Count
Parts are tracked through condition, shelf life, configuration compatibility, and provenance status — so supportability reflects what can actually go on the aircraft, not just what's sitting on a shelf.
Technical Data Rights Tracked as Their Own Dependency
A repair can have an available part, a qualified maintainer, and calibrated tools, and still be blocked because the current engineering revision of the manual isn't one the operator holds data rights to — that gets flagged explicitly, not left to stall with no visible reason.
Repaired Isn't Mission-Capable Until It's Verified
A completed repair stays in a distinct "repaired, unverified" state until the role-specific return-to-service tests actually pass — closing a work order doesn't by itself restore mission authority.
Hash-Sealed Certificates for Post-Event Review
Every supportability classification traces back to the exact parts, tooling, technical-data, and maintainer evidence that justified it at the time.
What we will never ask you for
Never requested, and structurally rejected if submitted: classified logistics-network topology, live supply-chain control access, or vendor-confidential data outside the evidence contract, or your system's core design data. Every submission is checked against this rejection list before any evidence logic runs — a malformed or over-broad submission is blocked and reported back to you, not silently processed.

Engagement path & current acquisition terms
DEF-018 · Tier B — Mission Software
Secures a defined diligence and exclusive-negotiation period. Any option credit is agreed in writing as part of the signed commercial terms.
Starting integration engineering, customer-safe adaptation, local/private deployment work, validation and acceptance evidence for the agreed environment.
Scope-dependent consideration for negotiated exclusivity in a defined field, program, platform class, territory and rights scope.
Engineering support, update access, security maintenance, evidence infrastructure and agreed sustainment services.
Applied to attributable net program revenue under the definitive agreement, subject to negotiated exclusions and accounting rules.
Commercial boundary. These are indicative starting terms, not a binding offer. Final price depends on exclusivity scope, field of use, territory, sublicensing, technical-data rights, integration obligations, export-control review, support requirements and definitive agreement.
IP boundary. Exclusive FOU does not automatically transfer ownership of BivectorAI Background IP. Worldwide/all-defense rights, sublicensing, source-level technical-data rights or assignment require separate negotiated consideration.
