Who this is for

Autonomy program managers and human-systems integration leads responsible for keeping degraded-operation authority and lost-link boundaries auditable.

The problem you already have

A recommendation can silently expand into executable authority on its way to review

Complex software decision workflows can quietly expand authority between what was recommended and what the human reviewer actually approves — the requested action scope can exceed what was originally granted, and if that expansion isn't checked before the package reaches the reviewer, human approval becomes a formality on a decision that already moved past its original bounds.

A team member losing contact with its leader can end up with more authority, not less

When an autonomous system loses its link to a team leader mid-mission, the instinct — human or automated — is to assume broader authority to keep the mission moving since someone needs to decide now that the leader can't. That's exactly backwards: authority should never expand just because oversight disappeared.

None of this authorizes physical execution

Not autonomous execution. Not target selection. Not weapon or fire control. Not effector, actuator, motor, or flight control. Not certification for live hardware or field deployment.

Real-World Operational Scenario: The Team Member That Kept Its Authority After the Leader Went Silent

Scenario: An autonomous system operating as part of a team loses contact with its team leader mid-mission.

The leader's link drops. The disconnected system still has a mission to complete and no one currently telling it what to do.

WITHOUT this check: The disconnected system infers that since the leader is gone, it should assume broader authority to keep completing the mission — someone needs to make decisions now. Authority quietly expands to fill the gap the leader left behind.

WITH this check: Delegated authority stays bounded by the last valid token the leader issued before the link dropped — it cannot increase just because the leader disappeared. The system either continues within its last authorized scope or drops to a lower tier requiring fresh human authorization, never assuming more just because nobody's watching.

What BivectorAI Provides

Authority Expansion Is Blocked Before Human Review, Not Discovered After

Requested action scope is checked against originally granted authority before a package reaches the reviewer — expansion requires explicit human reauthorization, not a rubber-stamped approval on a decision that already moved.

Disconnection Can Only Hold or Shrink Authority, Never Grow It

Loss of contact with a team leader or command link bounds authority at its last valid ceiling — a disconnected system cannot self-promote to fill the gap left by a leader or supervisor going silent.

Reconnection Doesn't Let the Newest Message Automatically Win

When contact is restored, conflicting local and remote command histories are preserved for review rather than resolved by simply trusting whichever instruction arrived last.

Human Decision Authority Stays Outside the Endpoint

This is strictly an assurance and review layer — it hands back a grounding or block verdict and authority-boundary evidence, and the decision itself remains with your reviewers.

What you provide

Redacted command-lineage, delegation-token, and lost-link event records — issued authority tokens, disconnection and reconnection timestamps, delegation depth — already logged by your autonomy stack.

What BivectorAI actually hands you

What we will never ask you for

Never requested, and structurally rejected if submitted: autonomy control code, vehicle command interfaces, or live mission-execution access, or your system's core design data. Every submission is checked against this rejection list before any evidence logic runs — a malformed or over-broad submission is blocked and reported back to you, not silently processed.

How it actually runs

01
You export the authority-boundary and lost-link event records already logged by your autonomy stack.
02
The evidence engine runs inside your boundary. Local CLI, on-prem container, or air-gapped VM — nothing leaves your network.
03
You receive a hash-sealed evidence certificate. Classification, confidence, and contradiction records included, ready for program review.
04
You decide. The engine does not take control action or issue commands — it hands your reviewers structured evidence for the decision that remains yours.

Engagement path & current acquisition terms

DEF-006 · Tier D — Strategic Command / Autonomy

Negotiated diligence option
On request

Secures a defined diligence and exclusive-negotiation period. Any option credit is agreed in writing as part of the signed commercial terms.

Private integration / NRE
On request

Starting integration engineering, customer-safe adaptation, local/private deployment work, validation and acceptance evidence for the agreed environment.

Exclusive field-of-use license
On request

Scope-dependent consideration for negotiated exclusivity in a defined field, program, platform class, territory and rights scope.

Annual technology & sustainment
On request

Engineering support, update access, security maintenance, evidence infrastructure and agreed sustainment services.

Program revenue participation
Negotiated

Applied to attributable net program revenue under the definitive agreement, subject to negotiated exclusions and accounting rules.

Commercial boundary. These are indicative starting terms, not a binding offer. Final price depends on exclusivity scope, field of use, territory, sublicensing, technical-data rights, integration obligations, export-control review, support requirements and definitive agreement.

IP boundary. Exclusive FOU does not automatically transfer ownership of BivectorAI Background IP. Worldwide/all-defense rights, sublicensing, source-level technical-data rights or assignment require separate negotiated consideration.

Controlled commercial surface

A controlled backend assessment surface currently exists for this capability.

Private / on-premise integration only

No automated PayPal checkout. Access is granted only under negotiated commercial entitlement.

Rights structure

Exclusive rights are defined by field of use, program scope, territory, term, sublicensing and technical-data rights. Underlying BivectorAI Background IP remains owned by BivectorAI unless expressly assigned.

Annual sustainment

May include updates, integration support, security maintenance, evidence infrastructure, validation support and agreed engineering services.

Revenue participation

Applied to attributable net program revenue under a definitive agreement with negotiated exclusions, reporting and audit terms.
