Trusted Heterogeneous Edge Accelerator
Commercial referenceDEF-028
When contacting BivectorAI, quote DEF-028 — Trusted Heterogeneous Edge Accelerator.
Who this is for
Edge-accelerator platform leads and trust-assurance engineers who need to know when thermal state or reconfiguration has invalidated a running workload's trust assumptions.
The problem you already have
Functional isn't the same as trustworthy
A heterogeneous accelerator can remain functional — still processing, still producing output — while thermal state, degraded tiles, configuration drift or resource recomposition quietly invalidate the trust assumptions the running workload depends on.
A tile can be safely cool while it cooks the tier stacked next to it
In a 3D-stacked accelerator, a compute tile's own temperature sensor can read well within its limit while the heat it generates has nowhere to go except through a neighboring or stacked tier — which has no direct sensor for that internal path, and climbs toward its own limit unnoticed until it starts throwing errors.
This works from platform telemetry, not chip-design data
Never requested, and structurally rejected if submitted: accelerator firmware, proprietary chip-design data, or live device control access.
Real-World Operational Scenario: The Compute Tile That Was Fine While It Cooked the Memory Stack Beneath It
Scenario: A 3D-stacked accelerator runs a compute-intensive workload on the top logic tier.
That tier's own temperature sensor reads well within its limit throughout the run.
WITHOUT this check: Since the logic tier's own sensor stays within bounds, the workload is treated as thermally safe. The heat it generates has nowhere to go except down through the memory stack beneath it, which silently climbs toward its own limit and is discovered only when it starts throwing errors.
WITH this check: The thermal path graph tracks vertical heat coupling between stacked tiers, not just each tier's own sensor. The workload is flagged before it starts as creating an unsafe coincident heating condition for the memory tier beneath it, even though the logic tier's own reading looks completely fine.
What you provide
Redacted thermal-state, tile-health, and reconfiguration-event telemetry already logged by your accelerator platform.
What BivectorAI Provides
Heat Coupling Between Stacked Tiers Is Tracked, Not Just Each Tier's Own Sensor
A tile reading safely on its own doesn't clear a workload if its heat output pushes a physically coupled neighbor or stacked tier toward its limit.
Replacement Hardware Isn't Assumed Equivalent by Name Alone
A field-replaced package or tile with the same marketing name, connector, or nominal performance class is compiled into a new integration and thermal generation before workloads are rebound to it — not silently treated as identical to what it replaced.
Degradation Is Structural, Not Just Healthy-or-Failed
A constrained tile can retain a qualified subset of its operations, precisions, or interface paths — the runtime binds workloads to what's actually still available instead of writing off the whole package.
Hash-Sealed Certificates for Post-Event Review
Every trust-invalidation classification traces back to the exact thermal, tile-health, and reconfiguration evidence that justified it at the time.
What we will never ask you for
Never requested, and structurally rejected if submitted: accelerator firmware, proprietary chip-design data, or live device control access, or your system's core design data. Every submission is checked against this rejection list before any evidence logic runs — a malformed or over-broad submission is blocked and reported back to you, not silently processed.

Engagement path & current acquisition terms
DEF-028 · Tier C — Strategic Sensing / Infrastructure
Secures a defined diligence and exclusive-negotiation period. Any option credit is agreed in writing as part of the signed commercial terms.
Starting integration engineering, customer-safe adaptation, local/private deployment work, validation and acceptance evidence for the agreed environment.
Scope-dependent consideration for negotiated exclusivity in a defined field, program, platform class, territory and rights scope.
Engineering support, update access, security maintenance, evidence infrastructure and agreed sustainment services.
Applied to attributable net program revenue under the definitive agreement, subject to negotiated exclusions and accounting rules.
Commercial boundary. These are indicative starting terms, not a binding offer. Final price depends on exclusivity scope, field of use, territory, sublicensing, technical-data rights, integration obligations, export-control review, support requirements and definitive agreement.
IP boundary. Exclusive FOU does not automatically transfer ownership of BivectorAI Background IP. Worldwide/all-defense rights, sublicensing, source-level technical-data rights or assignment require separate negotiated consideration.
