Post-Quantum Migration Evidence Review
Assess migration exposure without presenting algorithm recommendations as certification.
Who this is for
Security architects, cryptographic-migration leads and technical-assurance teams reviewing post-quantum transition evidence.
The problem you already have
A cryptographic inventory can look complete while the migration exposure remains hidden
Part 16 provides direct post-quantum governance lineage for customer-safe transition review. For this product, that supports mapping supplied cryptographic configuration, data sensitivity and migration evidence into a bounded exposure review instead of assuming that a named algorithm or inventory entry proves migration readiness.
Transition recommendations can be over-promoted into security or compliance claims
A post-quantum recommendation can identify an exposure, dependency or sequencing issue without proving that the deployed system is secure, compliant or correctly implemented. The current route therefore keeps migration findings separate from certification and specialist acceptance.
Migration review must remain separate from key-management authority
The bounded assessment works from supplied configuration and migration evidence. Private keys, signing authority and production key-management control remain customer-owned and outside the engagement.
Real-World Operational Scenario: The Migration Plan That Looked Complete Until One Legacy Dependency Remained
Scenario: A system appears ready for post-quantum transition, but one data path, certificate dependency or legacy configuration still relies on an old cryptographic assumption.
The security team needs to know whether the migration plan is genuinely bounded and review-ready or whether the remaining dependency should block broader acceptance until it is addressed.
WITHOUT this gate: a clean algorithm inventory can hide exposure in dependencies, transition sequencing or data-sensitivity assumptions.
WITH this gate: cryptographic configuration, sensitivity, dependency and migration evidence are reviewed together. The output remains a specialist review artifact; it does not certify the system or take control of production keys.
What BivectorAI Provides
Migration Exposure Review
Reviews whether the supplied cryptographic inventory and migration evidence expose unresolved transition dependencies for the agreed scope.
Configuration / Dependency Consistency Review
Uses Part 16 post-quantum governance lineage to surface mismatches between stated migration intent and the supplied configuration or dependency evidence.
Transition Readiness & Evidence-Gap Review
Separates supported migration findings from incomplete evidence, unresolved dependencies or conditions requiring specialist implementation validation.
Customer-Owned Key Authority Boundary
Returns bounded migration evidence while private keys, signing authority, production key-management control, certification and security guarantees remain outside scope.
Prove the Gate Before Broader Integration
Back-test the migration-evidence gate against frozen historical or synthetic transition cases with known security-review disposition.
Freeze the accepted inventory fields, dependency relationships, sensitivity context, transition criteria, evidence-gap rules and review thresholds before revealing the reference disposition. Broader integration is justified only if the same bounded contract reproducibly separates stronger migration evidence from incomplete or exposure-bearing cases. This is a proposed validation methodology, not cryptographic certification or proof of production security.
What you provide
A bounded inventory of relevant cryptographic configuration, data sensitivity and migration evidence.
What BivectorAI actually hands you
Migration-readiness findings
A bounded finding tied to the exact supplied cryptographic configuration, migration evidence and agreed review question.
Exposure & evidence-gap findings
A concise record of unresolved dependencies, incomplete evidence or sensitivity conditions that should qualify migration readiness.
Bounded algorithm-transition considerations
A specialist-facing transition record that remains advisory evidence, not algorithm certification or implementation approval.
Security-specialist review artifact
A retained input-linked artifact tying the returned findings and limitations to the exact supplied migration evidence package.
What we will never ask you for
Post-quantum migration work sits close to sensitive key-management and production security boundaries. The review is intentionally limited to supplied configuration and migration evidence, so private keys and signing authority remain outside the engagement.
- Private keys.
- Signing authority.
- Production key-management control.
- A claim of cryptographic or regulatory certification.
How it actually runs
Start with a bounded evaluation
Fixed scope / quoted per engagement. Inputs, outputs, evidence boundary and acceptance criteria are agreed before work begins.
We do not open with an annual license. If the bounded migration review does not establish that the evidence assessment is useful for the agreed post-quantum question, there is no reason to move into a broader commercial commitment.
A customer-safe post-quantum migration evidence route is integrated in the current source tree, but release-build, regression and production deployment validation remain pending. Recommendations are evidence-review outputs and do not constitute certification, key-management authority or a guarantee of cryptographic security.
